Dreambridge cockers Our Story
The name Dreambridge cockers is a combination of Oscar and Brambles kennel names
Oscars Kennel name is Kenmilleven Darkest Dream. Oscar was our 1st cocker and came from a couple in Billingham local to us. He is a little mischief monster who has a passion for socks and slippers. He loves other dogs and loves to runfree and play. His pedigree has Jenatspan, Rueberry, Lynwater and Kenan show dogs in it to name a few including sh ch Kenan Kando.
Brambles Kennel name is Owenabby Bridget Darbo.
Bramble came along when Oscar was 8 mths old and she comes from a breeder known as Owenabby at Guisborough, (see links) who has a high success rate at crufts. Bramble has so many champions in her pedigree that there are too many to mention!!! From the first moment she came she had Oscar sorted! She chased him and dangled from his ears when she was a pup. And is definitely the boss in this house!!
Two beautiful dogs that have totally different characters, Bramble, bold as brass and Oscar soo laid back and they get on sooo beautifully together.
The new addition came to the family Dec 08 Honey.
Honey came as we decided to help nessr (North East Springer Spaniel Rescue) and foster a dog. Well to cut a long story short we failed as foster parents and adopted her. She was so terrified when we first got her and as been treated soo very badly in the past. She didn't know what toys were or know what play was, it was really sad. But with a lot of love (n food) and the help of Oscars mischief and Brambles cuddles she has come along way. She is now settled in and content at last.
Some people might think we r dog gone mad! And I'm happy to say we are!!
